Because of a tight schedule, Koons’ beemer actually just wore a wrap – which seems to have paved the way for some copies.The BMW was decorated in explosive streaks of colour meant to evoke “power, motion and bursting energy”. The same design has now been applied to a new Aston Martin Carbon Black DBS, ruining its special matte black paint job designed to deflect the light at different angles. We think it’s decidedly ugly.
